Note: Media must RSVP to [email protected] by 8 a.m. and be prepared to show photo ID. Brookhaven National Laboratory is located on William Floyd Parkway (County Road 46), 1.5 miles north of Exit 68 of the Long Island Expressway. Enter the campus from William Floyd Parkway and head to guard booth to collect gate pass. Media must arrive at Brookhaven National Laboratory's Main Gate by 9:15 a.m. Eastern Time, obtain a visitor badge, and wait with vehicles to be escorted to the event location.
Following the Governor's remarks, media will have an opportunity to see the experimental floor of the Lab's National Synchrotron Light Source II from an adjacent balcony. Media who would like to participate in this portion of the event must wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. Photos and video are allowed. Masks must be worn at all times while on site.
