Healthcare Workers for Our Future Scholarship

Overview

The “Healthcare Workers for Our Future” Scholarship provides a two-year scholarship to approximately 500 selected recipients covering tuition, room and board, and other related expenses in an approved program of study at any approved New York state public or private college or university.

Individuals seeking to pursue a degree in the following fields of study are eligible to apply: Registered Nurse, Respiratory Therapist, Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Radiologic Technology and Surgical Technology.

Scholarship Winners

The "Healthcare Workers for Our Future" application has closed and winners have been notified via email from [email protected] with instructions to follow to accept the HWFOF Scholarship and sign the HWFOF Prize Agreement governing the terms and conditions of acceptance of the HWFOF Scholarship.

Eligibility

Approved Field of Study

Matriculate in a degree-granting program in an Approved Field of Study and enroll full-time or part-time in an associate degree program at an approved New York State college or university by fall 2026.

Live and Work in NY

Agree to live in New York State and to work in an approved field in a federally-designated Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) in New York State for two years within twelve (12) months of graduation.

Provide Documentation

Provide all required documentation to your school to determine eligibility for payment of the “Healthcare Workers for Our Future” Scholarship.
