Governor Hochul updated New Yorkers on the state's progress combating COVID-19.

Governor Hochul announced that a special election to fill the vacancy in the 20th District created by the resignation of Melissa Miller will be held on Thursday, April 7th.

"We are evaluating the CDC's new guidance, and we will update New Yorkers on potential changes as we work through the details and coordinate with all stakeholders in our school communities across our state."

Governor Hochul announced that New York State landmarks will be lit blue and yellow tonight, February 25 through Sunday, February 27, in solidarity with the people of Ukraine. New York remains engaged with the Biden administration and is prepared to support refugees of the crisis and welcome them to the state.
