Connecting 9/11 Survivors to a Lifeline of Benefits

Governor Hochul announced a campaign to ensure that survivors harmed by the 9/11 terrorist attacks are aware of their rights to programs that provide medical care and compensation.

Governor Hochul announced that the state's utility regulator has now sent letters to all of NY's major electric and gas utilities requiring them to increase their outreach and education efforts with New Yorkers on the continuing surge in energy supply prices and the impact it will have on utility bills, in light of the national increases to utility bills we are seeing as a result of the rising cost of natural gases.

In recognition of Black History Month and Women’s History Month, Governor Hochul announced today a new State Park planned for more than 500 acres of former industrial property along the Hudson River shoreline in Ulster County will be named for 19th century African American abolitionist and suffragist Sojourner Truth.
