Enhancing MTA Bus Service This Summer

Beginning June 29, 2025, Governor Hochul and the MTA announced it will increase bus service on 16 local routes across Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island.

Labor Agreement Reached With NYSPIA

Governor Hochul announced a tentative contract agreement between the State of New York and the New York State Police Investigators Association, which includes more than 1,100 investigators and senior investigators in the Division of State Police who are responsible for undercover surveillance and investigations of major crimes.

As a part of National Consumer Protection Week, Governor Hochul announced that the Office of Consumer Services at the New York State Department of Public Service — the staff arm of the Public Service Commission — assisted 68,000 New York households with a variety of consumer protection matters in 2022, resulting in the Department returning nearly $4.2 million to consumers.
