Largest Dairy Production Facility in the Northeast

Governor Hochul was joined by Coca-Cola Co. and fairlife representatives for the groundbreaking on a new $650 million, 745,000 square-foot production facility in Monroe County.

Earlier, Governor Hochul announced that Aurora/Cayuga/Union Springs will jointly receive $10 million in funding as the Central New York winner of the seventh round of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative, as well as Canastota and Brewerton/Hastings as this year’s Central New York region NY Forward winners, receiving $4.5 million each.

Governor Hochul announced the six designated Free Fishing Days in New York will take place on: February 17 to 18 (Presidents’ Day Weekend), June 29 to 30, September 28 (National Hunting and Fishing Day) and November 11 (Veterans Day).

“Earlier today, I spoke with White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients about the migrant crisis and how the emergency national security supplemental legislation would benefit our efforts to address the migrant and asylum seeker crisis in New York."

Governor Hochul announced $30 million in supportive housing funding to serve older adults, survivors of domestic and gender-based violence, veterans and chronically homeless families, and individuals with a mental illness or substance use disorder.
