Bruckner Expressway Bridge Rehabilitation in the Bronx

Governor Hochul announced that construction has been completed on a $44.7 million project that restored and modernized the bridge carrying the Bruckner Expressway over Rosedale Avenue, enhancing safety and improving resiliency along a vital commuter artery in the Bronx used by tens of thousands of vehicles each day and critical to the movement of goods around the region.

Governor Hochul urged caution ahead of forecasted lake effect snow set to impact portions of Western New York. Winter Weather Advisories have been issued for Sunday night into Monday morning, with three to six inches of snow forecasted for Chautauqua County and three to five inches possible in Niagara and Orleans Counties and localized higher amounts possible.

“After weeks of the Trump administration putting millions of New Yorkers through chaos and confusion, following guidance from USDA, I've directed state agencies to issue full federal SNAP benefits for November."
