Governor Hochul announced that the Metropolitan Transportation Authority is advancing on Phase 2 of the Second Avenue Subway with the solicitation of the first contract for construction of the future extension of the Second Avenue Subway to 125th Street in Harlem.

Governor Hochul directed flags to half-staff at all State government buildings and facilities on July 5 and July 6 in honor of U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant Kory Wade, who passed away following training exercises that took place on June 14.
