Making Life-Saving Treatment More Affordable for New Yorkers

Governor Hochul signed legislation that will reduce the cost of EpiPens by requiring health insurers to cover the devices, and caps out-of-pocket costs at $100 per year.

Brown, and the 5/14 Memorial Commission, along with the families of those lost and injured and other community stakeholders unveiled the final design of a permanent memorial honoring the victims of the racially motivated May 14, 2022 Tops shooting in Buffalo.

Governor Hochul announced flags on state buildings will be flown at half-staff starting at sunrise on May 13 through interment in honor of New York State Thruway Authority employee Vincent “Vinny” Giammarva, a Construction Equipment Operator Heavy in the Henrietta Maintenance Section, who was fatally injured in a work zone in the Town of Chili on May 9.
