"On behalf of the State of New York, I want to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. As New Yorkers gather safely to celebrate the holiday, let us celebrate the gifts we have been given and all we have to be thankful for. We are thankful that more than 90 percent of adult New Yorkers have gotten their COVID-19 vaccines, putting us on the path to defeating this pandemic. And, of course, we owe an immense amount of gratitude to the first responders and health care heroes who are giving up their holiday to keep us all safe and healthy. During this season of reflection and celebration, let's continue to take care of ourselves, our neighbors, our communities, and our great State. I hope every New Yorker has a safe, happy and healthy holiday."
