Governor Kathy Hochul today issued a proclamation celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in New York State. Earlier today, Governor Hochul broke ground on the new Hispanic Heritage Cultural Institute at an event with Hispanic Heritage Council of Western New York leadership, community stakeholders and elected officials in West Buffalo.
“New York’s Hispanic community is a key contributor to our state,” Governor Hochul said. “As we begin Hispanic Heritage Month and celebrate the Independence Days of several countries, we renew our commitment to honoring the history, culture, and contributions of the community.”
