Governor Cuomo Directs State Police Hate Crimes Task Force to Investigate Swastikas at State Park in Suffolk County
"I am sickened by the discovery on Thursday evening of two swastikas found painted on an abandoned building at Nissequogue River State Park in Suffolk County. These disgusting anti-Semitic symbols are meant to instill fear and feed the cancer of hate that has become pervasive across this nation in recent years. I am directing the State Police Hate Crimes Task Force to investigate this foul act, find those responsible and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. In New York we have absolutely zero tolerance for acts of intolerance, and we will continue to call them out whenever and wherever we see them."
