Governor Cuomo Directs State Police Hate Crimes Task Force to Assist in Investigation of More Swastika Graffiti at State Park in Suffolk County

TOP Governor Cuomo Directs State Police Hate Crimes...
WYSIWYG

"On Tuesday evening, a night watchman found a swastika spray painted on a building at Nissequogue River State Park in Suffolk County, the second time this hateful symbol was found there just this week. I am absolutely disgusted not only by this blatant display of anti-Semitism, but also by the disturbing increase in bias-related crimes that are intended to divide and instill fear in our communities.

"In New York we have absolutely zero tolerance for hate or discrimination of any kind, and we will always stand up and speak out against it in the strongest terms. I have directed the State Police Hate Crimes Take Force to assist local authorities in their investigation into this incident. We will find those responsible for these heinous acts and hold them accountable to the fullest extent of the law."
