Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced that the lights on One World Trade Center’s 408-foot spire will light up in blue and orange this evening to support Syracuse University’s women’s basketball team in the NCAA Championship. Syracuse takes on UConn at 8:30 p.m. ET at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

“There’s no denying that the UConn women are a force to be reckoned with – but with the resilience the Syracuse women have shown, I have a feeling there’s one more upset left in this season,” said Governor Cuomo. “People doubted the Orange earlier in the tournament – only to be proven wrong by a team that defied the odds to earn a trip to the Final Four for the first time in program history. I wish the best of luck to Coach Q and the women’s team in the final game of what has already been a season for the ages.”
