Sites Target Communities Where Vaccination Rate Is Well Below State Average
Zip Code Vaccination Data by Zip Code Now Live on Dashboard
All Sites Open for Walk-in Vaccinations on a First Come, First Served Basis
Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced 12 new pop-up vaccination sites will open in areas where zip code data shows the vaccination rate is significantly lower than the statewide average.
"Thanks to our remarkable progress against the COVID virus, we've been able to lift nearly all COVID restrictions and return to life as we know it, but our work is not yet done because we still need to get more New Yorkers vaccinated," Governor Cuomo said. "We are doubling down on targeting the zip codes where the vaccination rate still remains very low, and these new pop-up sites are a testament to our ongoing commitment to make sure the vaccine is available and accessible to every community."
Today's announcement builds on New York's commitment to bring the vaccine to communities across the state through pop-up vaccination sites. Since January 15, more than 250 community-based pop-up sites have administered more than 90,000 first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The COVID-19 Vaccine Tracker Dashboard is available to update New Yorkers on the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine. The New York State Department of Health requires vaccinating facilities to report all COVID-19 vaccine administration data within 24 hours; the vaccine administration data on the dashboard is updated daily to reflect the most up-to-date metrics in the state's vaccination effort.
New Yorkers who suspect fraud in the vaccine distribution process can now call 833-VAX-SCAM (833-829-7226) toll-free or email the state Department of Health at [email protected]. Hotline staff will route complaints to the appropriate investigative agencies to ensure New Yorkers are not being taken advantage of as the State works to vaccinate the entire eligible population.
