Governor Andrew M. Cuomo's State of the State Address will be held in the Empire State Plaza Convention Center on January 9 at 1:30 PM.
All members of the media wishing to attend the 2013 State of the State Address are required to have proper credentials, which can be requested via email at Press.RSVP@exec.ny.gov.
Please include the name of your media outlet, reporter, videographer and/or photographer. Requests for credential must be sent by 5:00 PM on Monday, January 7.
Media registration will begin at 11:00 am. Media personnel should proceed directly to Meeting Room 1 in the Convention Center, via the South Hall entrance, for registration.
Satellite Trucks and Live Trucks:
Media outlets wishing to park a live truck or a satellite truck on the Empire State Plaza must register via email to heather.groll@ogs.ny.gov by 9:00 am on Tuesday, January 8. Trucks should enter the Plaza through the Madison Avenue security gate and drivers should be prepared to present a valid driver’s license. Trucks will be directed to designated parking areas near the Egg. Satellite trucks and live trucks only are allowed on the Plaza – station vehicles are not allowed on the Plaza and must find alternative parking.
