"I want to thank Mayor Slingerland of Johnstown and Mayor King of Gloversville, as well as the respective common councils, for coming together to resolve this dispute, which allows this vital economic development project to move forward. It was critical that an agreement be reached as soon as possible so the region didn't miss this important opportunity to grow and create jobs. This is a true example of how government can work together with the private sector to create jobs. I commend these leaders for setting aside their differences and look forward to seeing this expansion project move forward."
