Albany, NY (October 31, 2012)
Governor Andrew M. Cuomo this afternoon announced progress on resuming regular service for Metro North customers. For rush hour tomorrow, Thursday, November 1st, Metro North will provide close to regular service for customers from Mt. Kisco to Grand Central Terminal on the Harlem Line and from Stamford to Grand Central Terminal on the New Haven Line.
This means that customers can plan their travel according to the existing schedules for their stations, although trains may run with more riders aboard than usual.
With these restorations, about 50% of all Metro North riders will as of tomorrow have close to regular service.
