Trained Staff to Help Sandy Victims with Applications for Federal Housing and Business Recovery Aid
Albany, NY (May 29, 2013)
Governor Andrew M. Cuomo is deploying representatives of the Department of Financial Services (DFS) to Suffolk County to help homeowners and business owners affected by Superstorm Sandy apply for federal recovery aid.
DFS representatives will also be available to assist with insurance-related issues stemming from damage caused by Sandy.
The Department’s representatives will be available to meet with residents inside the agency's Mobile Command Center, which will be stationed at these locations:
Thursday, May 30 – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Lindenhurst Library, 1 Lee Avenue, Lindenhurst
Friday, May 31 – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
1101 Sunrise Highway, Copiague
Saturday, June 1 -- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Southampton Library, 91 Coopers Farm Road, Southampton
