Governor Cuomo today appointed Susan Del Percio to serve as a Special Advisor to the Governor. In this capacity Ms. Del Percio will focus on Operations and Special Projects.
"I am pleased to welcome Susan Del Percio back to public service," Governor Cuomo said. "Susan brings years of experience in the public and private sector, as well as new ideas and top-rate talent to this administration, as we work to continue the success we have had over the past three years in creating jobs and building a smarter, healthier, fairer New York."
Susan Del Percio said, "I am honored to serve in this administration and return to public service. Governor Cuomo has a strong record of delivering real results for New Yorkers in all corners of the State and proving that government works best for the people when it is run in a bipartisan, collaborative manner. I look forward to serving in this new role and helping continue the momentum moving New York State ahead."
Ms. Del Percio is political contributor on MSNBC and founder of Susan Del Percio Strategies, a full service strategic communications firm that advises private and non-profit corporations and issue advocacy campaigns and organizations. Ms. Del Percio previously served in the administration of New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani as Deputy Commissioner for Finance and Administration. She received both her Masters and Bachelor Degrees from Emerson College.
