NOTE – Pre-meeting photos and video will be pooled. Following the meeting, Secretary Johnson, Governor Cuomo, Governor Christie and Mayor de Blasio will participate in a joint media availability. Credentialed media wishing to attend the media availability must RSVP to Amanda.degroff@hq.dhs.gov by 8:00 AM on Monday, September 15 to obtain directions for submission of a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for clearance into the building. Camera crews must be in place no later than 2:15 PM.

Last week, Governor Cuomo and Governor Christie announced that they would bring together all relevant law enforcement and security officials to affirm and build on existing security and preparedness coordination in the region.

 

Agencies participating in this meeting will include: the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services, the New York State Police, the New York Police Department, Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police, the New York National Guard, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the New Jersey State Police, the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, New Jersey Transit, New Jersey State National Guard, and other law enforcement and public safety agencies.
